Livewire Electric opened in 2009 with one van and a stubborn rule: every job gets a master electrician's eyes on it. Sixteen years later we still work Portland's older housing stock — foursquares, craftsmans, mid-century ranches — where knob-and-tube, fused panels and mystery junctions are routine, not surprises.

Usually yes. Energy Trust of Oregon incentives and the federal 30C tax credit can offset both hardware and installation. We supply the itemised invoice and documentation those programs require — just ask.
Yes. Emergency calls route to an on-call licensed electrician, never a call centre. Typical response across the Portland metro is about 60 minutes, in a van stocked for the failures we see most.
Not usually — but many insurers won't write a policy on it, and it shouldn't be insulated around. We can replace it in phases to spread cost, starting with the highest-risk circuits, then provide the insurance letter once the work is complete.
