Two to four weeks in normal weather. The install itself is one to three days, and the house is dried-in the same day tear-off starts. Winter atmospheric rivers can stretch material staging — we’d rather tell you that than leave your deck open to a storm.
No — driveway access for the dump trailer and one outdoor outlet is all we need. Expect photo updates at tear-off, dried-in, and ridge-cap stages, and a final walkthrough whenever you’re free. Most clients pick Saturday morning and a coffee.
If your shingles are under about fifteen years old and still sound, treatment is usually enough — we air-blow, never pressure-wash, then apply zinc and a ridge strip for 3–5 years of control. If granules are gone or felt is exposed, we show you the photos and quote both paths honestly.
Yes. We document damage with drone passes and moisture readings, write the scope in the format adjusters expect, and meet your adjuster on the roof. On approved claims you pay only your deductible — and the tarping visit is free either way.
GAF’s 50-year Golden Pledge covers materials and our labour, registered before we invoice. Ridgeline’s own 10-year workmanship warranty covers anything we nailed, flashed or sealed. Both transfer once to the next owner — a real selling point at closing.
